The following provisions apply to all products and services provided by Samra Host and HostObjects:

1. Unlawful Activities

   Customers may use Samra Host Web Hosting’s Server solely for legal purposes. The transmission of any material that violates any local, state, federal, or international law is forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, child pornography and storing any copyrighted material without the necessary rights or licenses on Samra Host Web Hosting’s Server. Additionally, using Samra Host’s servers or network to engage in or support illegal activities is prohibited.

2. Unauthorized Access (Hacking)

   Websites that promote hacking activities or distribute hacking tools are not allowed. Furthermore, using Samra Host’s systems or network to gain unauthorized access to any other system, service, or network is strictly prohibited.

3. Service Disruptions

   Any actions that disrupt services to either Samra Host’s network/servers or any external network are prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, Denial of Service attacks or other malicious activities.

4. Anonymous Proxy Servers

   Due to their potential for abuse and the negative impact on servers and networks, anonymous proxy servers are not permitted on Samra Host’s network and servers.

5. Unsolicited Communications (Spamming)

   Customers must not have any content on their site that promotes, sells, or provides tools or methods for sending unsolicited emails or newsgroup postings (spam). Using Samra Host Web Hosting’s Servers to relay unsolicited emails or newsgroup postings or to advertise sites hosted at Samra Host through unsolicited communications is strictly forbidden. Complaints about such violations will result in immediate account termination without a refund. More information about our anti-spam policy can be found here

6. Harvesting Personal Information

   Collecting or using email addresses, screen names, or other personal identifiers without the individual’s consent (including activities such as phishing, Internet scams, password theft, web scraping, and harvesting) is prohibited.

7. IP Blacklisting

   If the IP addresses assigned to your account by Samra Host are listed on an abuse database or blacklist like Spamhaus, you are in violation of this AUP. Samra Host may take necessary actions to protect its IP addresses, including suspending or terminating your service, regardless of whether the blacklisting resulted from your actions.

8. Investment Schemes

   Sites related to FOREX, e-gold exchange, and similar investment activities are not allowed.

9. Impersonation

   Using the Samra Host network to impersonate any person or entity, whether through email, forums, or any other means, is strictly forbidden. This includes spoofing email or network packet headers, regardless of the intent behind such actions.

10. Unethical SEO (Spamdexing)

    Customers must not engage in practices related to Black Hat SEO, Spamdexing, or creating “Scraper sites.” These activities can severely degrade server performance and are not allowed. Any actions that are likely to provoke retaliation against Samra Host’s network or personnel, including behaviors leading to denial of service attacks (DoS), are prohibited.

11. Personal Data Storage

    Except for Samra Host Dedicated Server and Storage products, customers agree to use Samra Host Web Hosting servers primarily for hosting a website and associated email functions. Data uploaded should primarily serve this purpose. Samra Host Web Hosting services are not intended for data backup or archiving. For instance, importing or storing personal email archives is not allowed. Forwarding all emails from another fully-hosted email address for archiving purposes is also prohibited. Additionally, email accounts must not be used for file storage, such as for security camera footage or transferring files.

    NOTE: We reserve the right to delete your email archives if they become excessive!

    We also reserve the right to negotiate additional charges with the customer and/or terminate the backups/archives at our discretion. If you exceed your allocated bandwidth for a month, you will be charged $1 per additional 5GB.

Shared Hosting Addendum

The following conditions specifically apply to shared web hosting products and services provided by Samra Host.

1. Adult Content Restrictions

   You must not run a banner exchange, free adult thumbnail gallery post (TGP), or free adult image galleries on your website.

2. Resource-Intensive Scripts/Processes

   Scripts or processes that negatively affect other customers’ ability to use their services are prohibited. This includes CPU-intensive CGI/PHP scripts and websites that exceed the traffic limits of a shared hosting environment.

3. IRC Bots/Bouncers

   All IRC bots and “bouncers” (bnc, etc.) are not allowed.

4. BitTorrent Usage

   While BitTorrent is a valuable distribution method, it is prone to abuse and misuse, and is therefore not permitted on Samra Host Shared Hosting services.

5. Proxy Software

   All proxy software, whether anonymous or not, is forbidden on Samra Host Shared Hosting services.

6. Network Daemons

   Any process that opens a network socket to accept connections from external networks is prohibited. Processes may only bind to the local host and must adhere to the resource usage limits imposed on all processes. They must not monopolize resources or interfere with other customers’ activities.
